Icetro Stainless Steel Shaft
Both ends are semi circles, the rear end connects to the gearbox via the Brass Bushing (Brass bushing to be purchased separately). This is the end with the extra ring around it to allow for the circlip. You may also require the use of a Circlip (which is used to hold shaft in place, ensuring the shaft stays in position and does not allow it to come completely through the front of the evaporator). The front end connects to the auger, this end looks beveled and threaded (see photos above).
