The BUNN Ultra NX 2 is the next-generation evolution of the industry-standard Ultra 2 platform. While both share the same twin capacity and heavy-duty freezing performance, the Ultra NX 2 introduces several key upgrades designed to lower long-term maintenance costs and maximize uptime:

• Enhanced Auger Drive & Seals: Upgraded drive system and redesigned shaft seals built for longer lifespan and higher durability under heavy daily use.
• Leak Capture System: A newly designed leak-capture feature that catches drips early to protect internal electronics and reduce cleanup time.
• Improved Energy Efficiency & Eco-Refrigerant: Features a quieter refrigeration system, energy-efficient LED lighting, and eco-friendly natural refrigerants.

Our BUNN Slushie machines are configured as twin-bowl units, giving you the capacity to serve two separate flavours simultaneously while maintaining continuous freezing power.

BUNN units feature a touchpad interface with an LCD screen. Operators can easily control individual auger rotation, switch between freeze, chill, and off modes, set automated timers, and adjust drink thickness.

Night Mode allows the unit to hold liquid product at a food-safe temperature overnight without fully freezing it. This saves energy, prevents ice crystals from growing too large over extended periods, and ensures product consistency day after day.

For optimal freezing and to prevent machine damage, your liquid mix should maintain a 12–14 Brix level (typically a standard 5:1 water-to-syrup ratio).

• Too much water: Causes solid ice formation that can stress the auger motor.
• Too much sugar or alcohol: Depresses the freezing point and stops the mix from turning into slush.

• Weekly: Perform a standard washdown and cleaning of the bowls, augers, tap assemblies, and seals. Always re-apply food-grade lubricant to rubber seals during reassembly.
• Monthly: Clean the removable air filter to maintain strong airflow to the condenser.

To prevent the compressor from overheating, ensure the unit has at least 10 cm (4 inches) of clear breathing space at the rear. Operating in ambient temperatures above 35°C should be avoided.
