The new style has a wider club like shape where the LED globe sits.
This part sits above the gearbox cover and protects the LED set up.
It has 2 screw holes at the bottom of the part that allows it to attach to the evaporator support and it also has one screw hole in the middle of the stem to connect it to the front of the LED holder
